The CW has renewed iZombie for a second season!
iZombie has been a solid show, that has definitely been helped by the lead-in of the wildly popular Arrow spinoff, The Flash on Tuesday nights and holding onto the audience.
The show is based on the comic from the DC Vertigo imprint, and stars Rose McIver as a medical examiner/police “psychic” who helps Detective Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) solve cases. He doesn’t know of course that she gets her visions by eating the brains of the victims. This gives her insight to their death and also temporarily absorbs their traits and talents as well.
This is the ninth series to be renewed by the CW network. as iZombie will be joining Arrow, The Flash, Reign, Supernatural, The 100, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, and Jane the Virgin.
